File Naming Convention for Plot SheetsA Plot Sheet is an electronic compilation of Backgrounds, Border and Title Block Information and is intended to be sent as hard copy in a design or construction document set. All Plot Sheets are stored under each discipline's PLOTSHT folder on the W:drive and incorporate the following naming convention:
The 1st thru 5th characters of the filename reflect the Plot Sheet Series Number used in the Title Block. The 6th & 7th character of a the filename are the Project Identification characters or Project ID. The 8th character of a the filename is the version or issue phase character of the Plot Sheet. Note: ALL Plot Sheets must have 8 character filename.
